The Rising is the weekly gathering of the Sunrise community at the Pinnacle Center. Together, we aim to bring glory to Jesus Christ and to build meaningful friendships with each other.
At the Rising, you'll find a vibrant fusion of trusted Christian principles and cutting-edge worship experiences. Our musicians lead us in worship through songs you're hearing on the radio and through remixed versions of the classics. Our pastors integrate a vigorous pursuit of the Bible's message with an honest look at the relevant issues we're facing these days.
The atmosphere at the rising is informal - leave your neckties and fancy dresses at home. If you find yourself laughing out loud, that's okay. If the multimedia productions and dramas make you feel more like you're at a theater than at a church, that's by design. Hey, if you'd even like to enjoy a glass of Pepsi and a doughnut (complimentary, of course) while you worship, more power to you!
For many of us, the Rising became the gateway to a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ and his plan for our lives. It also serves as one of the best ways to learn what ministry among the people of Sunrise is like. We'd love to see you this Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville!
