KidZone
The KidZone program, one of the most vibrant of Sunrise's ministries, exemplifies our commitment to the future of our community.
After worshipping among the full congregation for the first half of the Rising, our younger children (age 2 through 5th grade) are invited to gather in the back partition of the Pinnacle Center for age-appropriate Bible lessons, games, and crafts.
"I feel that at every stage of our lives, we need to know how to love Jesus Christ," says KidZone coordinator Deb Bennett, who attributes her dedication to the program to her love for children. "They need to gain this knowledge in a format that leads them to want to come back."
Sunrise has 4 levels of Sunday School called Kidzone. Each level has a curriculum that will challenge and reinforce all levels of Bible Knowledge.
- Kidzone 1 - "Little Lambs" is a Sunday School program for children 2 -3 years of age ( non-preschool)
- Kidzone 2 - "Veggie Tales" is a Sunday School program for children pre-school through young 5's
- Kidzone 3 - "Space Buddies" is a Sunday School program for children kindergarden through 2nd grade
- Kidzone 4 - "Narnians" is a Sunday School program for children 3rd through 5th grade We meet every Sunday morning during the worship service at the Pinnacle. We do have extra practices for the Children's Christmas program.
